According to a report by Comicbook.com, Solo: A Star Wars Story, which opened well under expectations last week, is expected to take a 66 percent decline in its second weekend at the box office. Industry analysts have predicted that the beleaguered film will bring in just 28.8 million in its second weekend, bringing the film's two week total to an underwhelming 148 million-dollars. By comparison, comicbook.com points out that Star Wars: The Last Jedi brought in $71 million in its second weekend. While the first standalone Star Wars movie, Rogue One, saw a 59 percent decline, which still amounted to $64 million.
