VIDEO : Press Barred From Attending Samantha Bee Event Following 'Vile' Comment

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the same day that Samantha Bee apologized for a controversial statement about Ivanka Trump, she was set to be honored by the Television Academy, however now the press isn't invited to cover the event. THR reports that the Television Academy contacted the press Thursday afternoon and said that press would not be allowed into the reception "as a result of today?s events involving Samantha Bee," leading to "the need to limit access to tonight's activities." Sarah Huckabee Sanders was one of many who called out Bee for her "vile and vicious" comments about the First Daughter.
