Tom Cruise officially released the first photo from his upcoming film Top Gun: Maverick.
He feels the need for speed! Cruise will reprise his role as Pete ?Maverick? Mitchell for the film.
The actor confirmed the sequel in May 2017, telling Access Hollywood ?It?s not going to be called Top Gun 2. I didn?t want a number. You don?t need a number.?
The follow-up film will reportedly have the same tone and style as the original.
We can expect to see a wide range of jets, an aircraft carrier, and ?maybe a volleyball scene.?
Top Gun: Maverick is set to be released July 12th, 2019.
