Industry experts say that ABC and its parent corporation, The Walt Disney Company, had no choice but to drop Roseanne Barr, in the wake of a racist tweet. "Roseanne" had become a huge ratings hit for the network but Disney CEO Robert Iger said ?There was only one thing to do here, and that was the right thing.? Barr is a vocal supporter of president Donald Trump and she's a favorite of the president. Trump is scheduled to speak at a rally Tuesday night in Tennessee and there's speculation that he'll bring up the show cancellation to fire up his crowd.
