ABC network canceled the revival of Roseanne after the show's star sparked a controversy on Twitter.
According to reports, ABC executives cancelled the show because of Roseanne Barr's accusations against former Obama adviser Valarie Jarrett.
ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey stated that Roseanne's abhorrent and repugnant statements were not consistent with the network's values.
In a series of tweets, Roseanne compared Jarrett to an ape and a 'baby' of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood.
But before ABC cancelled the sitcom, cast members quit the show, including Wanda Sykes.
