That's not including 120 pairs of heels and 100 different handbags. That?s partly because Carrie is fictional, and her wardrobe is fantasy. In season 4 Carrie admits she?s spent $40,000 on shoes. The show's costumes were designed by Patricia Field. Field said she never worried about Carrie's wardrobe "making sense for a writer's income."
