Over the weekend, Solo: A Star Wars Story hit theaters.
The film debuted with a dramatic thud, earning significantly less than estimated.
Solo is the first Star Wars film not to feature a member of the Skywalker family.
The Skywalkers are the foundation of the Star Wars films.
The majority of films are all part of the Skywalker saga.
But, Star Wars seems to be moving away from the Skywalkers.
Considering Solo's failure at the box office, that plan may not be such a good idea.
