ABC announced on Wednesday that they were cancelling 'The Chew,' in September.
Why was the cooking show cut to make room for another hour of ?Good Morning America??
According to sources, Mario Batali sexual misconduct accusations had nothing to do with it.
Last season, Batali?a longtime cohost, was fired from the show after sexual misconduct claims surfaced against him.
But Nielsen data shows that The Chew only dipped three percent, among total viewers, since last season, with over 2 million views per episode.
Reports say that the ABC cooking show actually peaked after it's third season and Batali's allegations didn't really affect show views.
