Fans of "The Expanse" still reeling from news of its cancellation have reason to be hopeful.
Reports indicate that Amazon Studios is in talks with producers Alcon Television.
The network already owns streaming rights to the celebrated sci-fi series.
And now it could be considering acquiring the first-run rights to the show.
Developed by Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, the show is based on the novels by James S. A. Corey.
