HBO and Sky are behind the documentary The Case Against Adnan Syed, a four-hour documentary series about the young man who was the focus of the first season of the podcast Serial. In 1999, 18-year-old Hae Min Lee was murdered in Baltimore, and Syed, her ex-boyfriend, was convicted of the crime. In production since 2015, The Case Against Adnan Syed re-examines the events leading up to Hae Min Lee?s disappearance.
