VIDEO : Pressure Inside a Proton Compares To Densest Stars

Celebrity in this news:

According to gizmodo.com, "The pressure inside the particles that make up every atom in the universe could be greater than the pressure inside the densest stars." In Virginia, scientists at Jefferson Lab used their lab's Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility to calculate pressure. They conducted the study in order to understand the nature of particles better. Volker Burkert, Jefferson Lab Hall B leader, stated, "Neutron stars are some of the densest object we know of in the universe. It's an order of magnitude bigger than that. It could be the record observation of a pressure on Earth."
