Deadpool 2 is on its way just under a month after Avengers: Infinity War hit theaters.

Many fans are wondering if Avengers: Infinity War would have an effect on the sarcastic sequel.

Director David Leitch answered fans' concerns saying Infinity War primed audiences.

The Russos are friends of mine, mentors of mine. I love them. I think having that [movie] to prime that audience to go out and enjoy a movie right now in a comic book universe. I think it does bode well for us.
