On Monday, director Spike Lee's new movie "BLACKkKLANSMAN" debuted at Cannes, scoring a 10-minute standing ovation from the crowd. The movie, which is based on actual events, is set in the 1970s and follows actor John David Washington's Ron Stallworth, the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. In the movie, Stallworth is tasked to infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan.
