Carrie Underwood suffered a severe fall that caused a traumatic face injury. According to allure.com, the injury required her to get '40 stitches in her face. Since... the singer and performer had a pretty quiet few months on social media, save for sharing a selfie or two from an angle that mostly hid her face." More recently, Underwood has undergone reconstruction surgery, recovery, and took part in her first television interview since her fall. She shared with the public that, "Every day I feel a little more back to normal."
