Tim Allen's comedy show 'Last Man Standing' will return to Fox for the network's 2018-2019 season. The program previously aired for six seasons on ABC before being cancelled despite good viewership numbers. For the 2016-2017 season on ABC, 'Last Man Standing' averaged 8.3 million viewers in Live + 7 ratings. Gary Newman and Dana Walden, CEOs of Fox Television Group, said in a statement, "Last Man Standing ended too soon and the outcry from the fans has been deafening.
