THR reports Avengers: Infinity War now holds the record for most presales in China ever. With still a day to go before the film officially opens, the blockbuster has tallied $47.5 million in presale tickets. That just edges out China?s previous record holder Monster Hunt 2, but easily surpasses Fate of the Furious? $25M record for films made in Hollywood.
Presale tickets continue to become a bigger market as audiences look to secure their seat ahead of walking into the theater. Actual projections for Infinity War?s China opening are not yet available, but these numbers indicate it will be rather big.
