A week after returning for its second season, ?The Handmaid?s Tale? was renewed for a third, Hulu announced on Wednesday. The Emmy-winning drama premiered the first two episodes of its sophomore season on April 25. The series stars Elisabeth Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Alexis Bledel, Madeline Brewer and Ann Dowd. It is based on Margaret Atwood?s acclaimed 1985 novel that imagines a dystopian future where women are subjugated, though it exhausted all of its source material in the first season.
