VIDEO : 'SNL' Stars To Co-Host Primetime Emmy Awards

Colin Jost and Michael Che, anchors on Saturday Night Live's ?Weekend Update? and co-head writers of the long-running program, have been named the co-hosts of the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards. The ceremony will air live from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles Monday, September 17 on NBC. Che and Jost began their tenure on ?Weekend Update? in 2014. Jost started as a writer for the show in 2005 while Che came on board in 2013. Nominations for the Emmys will be announced Thursday, July 12.
