James Cameron is currently shooting three "Avatar" sequels at the same time and will soon be starting production on a fourth. Following the success of the groundbreaking 2009 film, Cameron has been working on turning the story into a franchise. The four sequels have a budget of over $1 billion. All the movies are planned to open during Christmastime from 2018 to 2023.
