VIDEO : JJ Abrams Offers Update On 'Overlord' And 'Cloverfield' Sequel

According to a report by comicbook.com, JJ Abrams recently took the stage at the Paramount panel at CinemaCon and released some new details on the upcoming 'Overlord' project, the next installment of the Cloverfield project. The new film is set in World War two, and revolves around a group of American paratroopers on the eve of D-Day, fighting against Nazis and supernatural forces. Abrams reportedly said, "It is a crazy action sci-fi film that takes place during World War II. It is not a Cloverfield movie. We are developing a true dedicated Cloverfield sequel that is coming to theaters very soon."
