Actor Hank Azaria will step aside from voicing Apu on The Simpsons.
Azaria has voiced the Indian character, along with many others on the show, for decades.
But following recent criticism about characters and stereotypes, Azaria has chosen to step aside from voice the Kwik-E-Mart proprietor.
Speaking with Stephen Colbert on the Late Show, Azaria added that its the right the thing to do.
