Patty Jenkins has confirmed that ?Wonder Woman 2? will be set in the 1980s. The first film was set during World War I, the earliest period of any superhero movie. At the end of this film Diana mourned the death of Steve Trevor. But still said she would help humanity and be a part of the world. This was at odds with Diana?s story in both ?Batman v Superman? and ?Justice League.? In ?Wonder Woman 2? fans are expecting to get answers on why Diana disappeared.
