Former 'OC' star Adam Brody is joining the cast of the upcoming DC superhero film 'Shazam'. He joins a cast that includes Zachary Levi as the titular hero, Asher Angel as Billy Batson and Mark Strong as villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. It is unknown what character Brody will be playing, but fans do know that the movie is expected to be fun. Levi has previously described the film's central relationship between Shazam and Batson as "Big meets Superman." The movie will open in theaters on April 5, 2019.
