Davis will portray Dr. Nicole Herman in the penultimate episode of the show's 14th season.
Dr. Herman last appeared in Season 11.
Jessica Capshaw and Sarah Drew will not be returning to the medical drama after this season.
**Grey?s Anatomy** Season 14 will conclude on Thursday, May 17.
