Actress Natalie Portman cancelled her upcoming travel to Israel to accept an award.
Natalie was scheduled to arrive in June to accept an award from the Genesis Prize Foundation.
She announced that ?Recent events in Israel have been extremely distressing to her."
And that she cannot in good conscience move forward with the planned ceremony.
Although she didn't specify what "recent events" caused her decision, she is not the first to cancel a visit.
