Director Steven Spielberg is set to tackle his first movie based on a DC comic book, the World War II action-adventure hero series Blackhawk. 'Blackhawk', which debuted in 1941?s Military Comics No. 1, was published originally by Quality Comics before DC acquired it in 1956. The plot of the comic book tells of an international squadron of heroic pilots led by a man named Blackhawk who battle the Nazis in World War II.
