She starred in the 2017 spy thriller opposite James McAvoy and John Goodman.
She told an audience at San Francisco's Castro Theater: "We're working on a sequel."
The original movie was based on Anthony Johnston's graphic novel 'The Coldest City.'
It earned $95 million at the box office.
