'Thor: Ragnarok' director Taika Waititi has confirmed he is working on a big screen adaptation of the classic Japanese manga comic and anime movie 'Akira'. In an interview with Dazed Digital, Waititi said, "I?m not remaking the film, I want to go back to the book.? A lot of the people freaking out haven?t even read the books, and there are six gigantic books to go through." He then added, "The anime is one of my favorite films. My mom took me to see it when I was 13 and it changed my life."
