VIDEO : John Krasinski Says 'Jaws' Was Inspiration For 'A Quiet Place'

John Krasinski's debut horror film, 'A Quiet Place,' premieres this week. The film currently has a 99 percent positive rating on review site Rotten Tomatoes. According to the film's producer, Andrew Form, 'Jaws' was a huge inspiration for Krasinski. Form said, "Creatively, John was always talking about Jaws." In 'Jaws,' it was the fear of the unknown that resonated more deeply with audiences. 'A Quiet Place' depicts a family hiding from monstrous creatures lurking in the woods. Krasinski showed restraint with displaying the creatures, but he didn't hide them completely.
