According to Zachary Quinto, three are 3 scripts currently in development for the 'Star Trek' movie franchise. Quinto, who plays Spock, noted that any Trek project with director Quentin Tarantino won?t be happening for a while, as the filmmaker is currently working on his movie, ?Once Upon a Time In Hollywood.? While talking with ET Canada, Quinto goes on to explain that one of the script's is by Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne, who wrote the first draft for the third film ?Star Trek: Beyond." The other is by Doug Jung and Quinto?s co-star Simon Pegg, who wrote ?Beyond?s? final draft.
