With the rights to the Fantastic Four returned home to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, many fans have begun to speculate about who could be cast to reboot Marvel's first family. While the deal is expected to take 12 to 18 months to be cleared, it could potentially be blocked by the Department of Justice, however this hasn't prevented fans from getting their hopes up. Screen Rant points out that the three Fantastic Four movies Twentieth Century Fox were all poorly received by both critics or fans. Director Josh Trank has even gone so far as to disown the disastrous 2015 reboot.
