The film is directed by Steven Spielberg, Hollywod's highest-grossing director. Speilberg confesses he still gets jitters. He said in a recent interview, "[I'm] always nervous for every film that debuts."
?Ready Player One? is already getting buzz for its pop culture references. They include everything from the Iron Giant to the DeLorean from ?Back to the Future? to Beetlejuice to Batman. Speilberg, however, promises he didn?t over do it. He says, ?It was a matter of picking and choosing the right references to put in this film as not to distract form the main central storyline.?
