VIDEO : Jeff Goldblum's Part Was Almost Cut From 'Jurassic Park'

Jeff Goldblum says the Ian Malcolm character was almost cut from Jurassic Park.
Goldblum as Malcom became an audience favorite.
His role was then made larger for the sequel.
Goldblum recalled a meeting with director Stephen Spielberg in a recent interview.
"[Spielberg] said 'We?re rewriting another version of the script to have that part removed from the script. So since we?ve had this meeting, there?s this little wrinkle that may render this moot." Jeff Goldblum
The character will return for a cameo in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
