According to the movie's executive producer Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, who helmed 2015?s ?Jurassic World,? will return to direct the third installment in the franchise. ?Jurassic World? became one of the highest grossing movies ever made, raking in $1.67 billion grossed worldwide. In addition, Trevorrow will write the third movie's script which will be based off a story written by himself and writing partner, Derek Connolly. ?Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom? does not hit theatres until this summer, but Universal has already given a release date for 'Jurassic World 3' of June 11, 2021.
