The film adaptation stars Channing Tatum.
However, the project has been a revolving door of directors.
Gore Verbinski was attached to direct but dropped out.
Production was put on hold as they searched for a new director.
Omega Underground is reporting the project has a new official start date.
The movie will start shooting June 19 in of New Orleans, Louisiana.
