The Fox hit returns Wednesday night with Cookie, (Taraji P. Henson) and Lucious (Terrance Howard) stuck in a cabin.
Cookie comes to rescue Lucious, who was kidnapped in the winter finale by a character named by Claudia, played by Demi Moore.
But the rescue turns to remembrance as the Cookie and Lucious revisit the dark years of Cookie's imprisonment and how it impacted their marriage.
Insiders say that most of the intense episode was shot in singles takes, at Taraji's request.
