According to Box Office Pro, the long-range tracking for the sequel suggests it will earn an even 100 million dollars in its first three days. In comparison, the first film grossed a then record-breaking 132 million in its debut. The first Deadpool received positive reviews, some awards buzz and became a commercial juggernaut. It was the highest-grossing R-rated film of all-time.
