WWE superstar John Cena has been confirmed for the titular role in Platinum Dunes' upcoming movie adaptation of the video game series 'Duke Nukem'. However, production on the film is still in the very early stages with producers Andrew Form and Brad Fuller saying they don't even have a script yet. In a new interview with CinemaBlend, they added the movie will borrow inspiration from Ryan Reynolds' hit Deadpool film. Form and Fuller explain, "It's going to be about tone. How do you nail that tone in the way that Deadpool nailed the tone? I think we have to do that and if we don't get the tone right then we're not going to make the movie."
