The 59-year-old 'Footloose' star is teaming up with David Koepp and Jason Blum's Blumhouse Productions to adapt the 2017 book of the same name by German author Daniel Kehlmann, The Hollywood Reporter say. Koepp has adapted the book and is set to helm the new movie which is being slated to start production this year. I just thought it was a great role for him and the truth is, when we were trying to make it as an independent feature, we were trying to raise money and I asked him if he would be interested in playing that role -- not because I thought he would be brilliant, but frankly because he would get the movie made.
