VIDEO : Shatner Slams Facebook After Death Ad

Celebrity in this news:

William Shatner sure has a lot to say for a guy who, by one account anyway, is no longer living.
?Star Trek? icon Shatner went off on Facebook on Wednesday, after a keen-eyed fan informed the actor that he?s been reported deceased.
The bad news was broken to the ?Boston Legal? alum by a Twitter user who included a screenshot of a purported ad from Avocet Retail Sales that bore a picture of Shatner and read, in part, ?Fans will always hold a special place for ?Captain Kirk,? after William was found?'?
The screenshot read, ?Beloved Sci-Fi Actor Found D?? and, ?LEARN MORE.?
?Hey @facebook isn?t this your messenger app? What?s up with you allowing this Acocet Retail Sales ad to pass your muster? Thought you were doing something about this?? Shatner wrote.
News of Shatner?s demise couldn?t come at a worse time for the actor, as he is expected to turn 87 on Thursday.
It also couldn?t come at a worse time for Facebook, which has been reeling recently over news that 50 million Facebook users unknowingly had their information lifted by data firm Cambridge Analytica.
