Chrissy Metz, who is best known for her role as Kate in 'This Is Us,' is writing a book.
It's called, 'This Is Me: Loving the Person You Are Today,' and she opens up about her dark past in it.
She grew up poor after her father left and never knew when she would get to eat.
She said this caused her to feel like she needed to eat as much food as she could before it was gone.
She wants fans to read her book so they learn how to love themselves they way they are.
