DeWanda Wise is exiting her role in the upcoming "Captain Marvel" superhero film.
The actress is leaving due to scheduling conflicts with her Netflix series "She?s Gotta Have It."
The character Wise was playing was never revealed, though many speculated she would play Monica Rambeau
Oscar-winner Brie Larson will play the title role in the MCU's first female-led superhero movie.
The feature will also have Marvel?s first female co-director, Anna Boden, who will helm alongside Ryan Fleck.
