DC Comics has announced that it will be launching a new "Hawkman" comic book series.
Coming in June, the series will be written by Robert Venditti and illustrated by Bryan Hitch.
The character has enjoyed a resurrection recently, after being absent for many years.
But the "Dark Nights: Metal" event and "Hawkman: Found" series have brought him back.

The new series will see Carter Hall return, on a mission to learn about the many incarnations of Hawkman
Along with the announcement, DC unveiled the cover of the first issue.
"Hawkman #1" arrives in stores and will be available for digital download on June 13.
