VIDEO : Pastry Chef Jacques Explains Why Failure Is Important

This past Friday, six episodes of Nailed It, dropped on Netflix. It's a new kind of baking competition show where contestants have nearly no baking skills. Pastry chef Jacques Torres is one of the judges. Torres revealed that normally he doesn't like cooking competition shows. He thinks they're "too serious." He agreed to do Nailed It because it "was going to be funny." Torres says he thinks failure is important in order to achieve success.
