Actor Jim Parsons and singer Britney Spears will receive awards at the 29th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on April 12. GLAAD announced last week that the 'Big Bang Theory' star will receive the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, which is given to an LGBTQ media professional who has promoted LGBTQ acceptance. Parsons married his longtime partner Todd Spiewak last year. Spears will be given with the Vanguard Award, which will honor her support of the LGBTQ community. The popstar has been a vocal activist supporting the LGTBQ community for years.
