VIDEO : Mexican Filmmakers Get A Leg Up From Guillermo Del Toro

Guillermo del Toro is fresh off winning Best Director and Best Picture at the Oscars. ?The Shape of Water? filmmaker announced this weekend that he is starting an annual scholarship for up-and-coming filmmakers to study abroad.
The announcement was made Saturday at the Guadalajara Film Festival. It came after the first of a series of masterclasses del Toro is giving during the week-long festival. Named the Jenkins-Del Toro International Film Scholarship, the $60,000 prize will be given annually at the festival. It will be decided on by a jury led by del Toro.
The director said, ?If we change a life, if we change a history, we change a generation."
