VIDEO : Only 9 Female Directors Have Had $100 Million Budgets

There are only nine women directors in history that have made films with budgets over $100 million dollars.
They include Kathryn Bigelow.
She's the first and only woman to win an Oscar for Best Director.
She had a $100 million budget for ?K-19: The Widowmaker, a 2002 thriller.
Patty Jenkins also received a $100 million dollar budget to direct Wonder Woman.
It made $412 million at the domestic box office.
Ava DuVernay's ?A Wrinkle in Time? hits theaters this weekend.
Many hope that the $103 Million dollar Disney film will help create more opportunities for women filmmakers in the future.
