'Transparent' won't return in 2018. After Amazon Studios announced that lead actor Jeffrey Tambor would not return to play Maura Pfefferman following sexual harassment claims, it was reported that the show would not resume production until December of this year. It remains unclear if the studio will recast the role or write the show without Maura. Tambor claimed innocence throughout the investigation.
