VIDEO : 'Girls Trip' Director Gets First-Look Deal With Universal TV

Girls Trip director Malcolm D. Lee is expanding to the small screen. He has signed a first-look development deal with Universal Television, under which he will create, develop and executive produce new projects for the studio. They will come via his Blackmaled Productions banner. Lee's credits also include The Best Man, Undercover Brother, Roll Bounce, Soul Men, The Best Man Holiday and Barbershop: The Next Cut. He's also in development on the next installment of the Best Man franchise.
