Hollywood legend (and 2018 Oscars presenter) Rita Moreno decided to forgo something new for tonight?s show and instead opted to wear a gown that has been in her closet for some time ? 56 years, to be exact. That's right, Moreno is wearing the same gown tonight that she wore to her very first Academy Awards in 1962.
Allure shares that the 86-year-old actress first wore the iconic gown, which features a black bodice with a high neckline and a full embellished skirt, when she won her first and only Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in West Side Story for her portrayal of Anita. (She?s since become the only Latin actress to also win an Emmy, Tony, and Grammy, making her one of the 12 EGOTs.) The fact that she not only still has, but can also still wear, the gorgeous gown more than five decades later has Twitter seriously impressed (as if Moreno wasn?t already impressive enough).
